Cerita Kancil dan Tikus dalam Bahasa Inggris dan Artinya

The Mouse Deer and the Mouse

Once upon a time, there was a clever mouse deer who lived in the jungle. He liked to play tricks on other animals and make fun of them. One day, he met a mouse who was looking for food. The mouse deer decided to trick the mouse and said, "Hello, little mouse. Do you want to be my friend?"

The mouse was surprised and said, "Sure, why not? You are a big and strong animal. I can learn a lot from you."

The mouse deer smiled and said, "Great. Let's go to the farmer's field. There are many delicious crops there. We can eat as much as we want."

The mouse agreed and followed the mouse deer. They reached the farmer's field and saw many ripe corns, carrots, and cabbages. The mouse deer said, "Look, little mouse. This is our feast. You can eat whatever you like. But be careful, the farmer might come anytime. If you hear me say 'run', you have to run as fast as you can."

The mouse nodded and said, "Okay, I understand. Thank you for your kindness, mouse deer."

They started to eat the crops. The mouse deer ate the corns, while the mouse ate the carrots. They were enjoying their meal, when suddenly the mouse deer saw the farmer coming. He wanted to escape, but he also wanted to scare the mouse. So he shouted, "Run, little mouse, run! The farmer is here!"

The mouse was frightened and ran away. But he did not run to the jungle. He ran to the farmer's house. He thought that the farmer's house was safer than the jungle. He entered the house and hid under the bed.

The mouse deer laughed and said, "Ha ha ha, what a silly mouse. He ran to the wrong direction. He will be caught by the farmer's cat. That will teach him a lesson."

He ran to the jungle and left the mouse behind. He was proud of his trick and thought that he was the smartest animal in the jungle.

Meanwhile, the mouse was hiding under the bed. He saw the farmer's cat sleeping on the sofa. He was scared and prayed, "Oh God, please save me from this cat. I don't want to be his lunch."

Suddenly, he heard a voice saying, "Don't worry, little mouse. I will help you. I am the farmer's wife. I like mice. They are cute and friendly. Come out from under the bed. I will take you to a safe place."

The mouse was surprised and said, "Really? You are not going to hurt me?"

The farmer's wife said, "Of course not. I am a kind person. I don't like the cat. He is lazy and greedy. He always eats my cheese and milk. Come on, follow me. I will show you something."

The mouse trusted the farmer's wife and came out from under the bed. The farmer's wife picked him up and carried him to the kitchen. She opened a cupboard and said, "Look, little mouse. This is your new home. There are many cheese and bread here. You can eat as much as you want. No one will bother you here. You can stay here as long as you like."

The mouse was amazed and said, "Wow, this is wonderful. Thank you very much, farmer's wife. You are very kind and generous. You are my true friend."

The farmer's wife smiled and said, "You are welcome, little mouse. I am glad to have you as my friend. You can call me Mama. Now, enjoy your meal. I have to go and do some work. I will come back later and see how you are doing."

She left the mouse in the cupboard and closed the door. The mouse was happy and grateful. He ate the cheese and bread and felt full and satisfied. He said, "This is the best day of my life. I have found a new home and a new friend. I don't need the mouse deer anymore. He is a bad and selfish animal. He tried to trick me and put me in danger. He is not a true friend. He is my enemy."

He decided to forget the mouse deer and live happily with the farmer's wife. He thanked God for his blessing and prayed, "Oh God, please protect me and Mama from the cat and the mouse deer. They are evil and cruel. They want to harm us. Please keep us safe and happy. Amen."

Tiba-tiba, dia mendengar suara berkata, "Jangan khawatir, tikus kecil. Saya akan membantu Anda. Saya istri petani. Saya suka tikus. Mereka lucu dan ramah. Keluar dari bawah tempat tidur. Aku akan membawamu ke tempat yang aman."

Tikus itu terkejut dan berkata, "Benarkah? Kamu tidak akan menyakitiku?"

Istri petani itu berkata, "Tentu saja tidak. Saya orang yang baik. Saya tidak suka kucing itu. Dia malas dan serakah. Dia selalu makan keju dan susu saya. Ayo, ikuti aku.

Mereka ingin menyakiti kita. Tolong jaga kami tetap aman dan bahagia. Amin."
